Privacy Policy

lizt (“we”, “us”), a product operated by Ztar Tech LLC, is a personal lists app. This policy describes what account and content data we collect when you use lizt, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access, export, or delete it.

Account data. lizt authenticates you with a one-time passcode sent to your email — there is no password and no social/OAuth login. We store your email address, a username, and account preferences.

Content you create.Lists, list items, comments, tags, and any links or dates you attach to them. If you upload images or record voice notes, those files are stored too. If you share a list, we store who it's shared with and their access level.

AI chat.If you use the in-app AI assistant, we store your messages and the assistant's tool actions (e.g. “created item X”) so the conversation and an audit trail of what changed are available to you later.

Usage & delivery data.Basic technical data needed to send you email reminders and recaps (e.g. when a reminder was sent, so we don't send it twice), and rate-limiting data tied to your email to prevent abuse of the sign-in flow.

• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To store and sync your lists, items, and comments across devices.
• To power the AI chat assistant: your messages are sent to an AI model provider to generate a response and, if you ask it to, to make changes to your lists.
• To send you reminders, digests/recaps, and account-related emails.
• To prevent abuse (e.g. rate-limiting repeated sign-in attempts).

We don't sell your data. We use the following infrastructure providers to run lizt — each processes data only to provide their service to us:

• Neon — hosts our Postgres database (accounts, lists, items, comments, chat history).
• Vercel — hosts the application, and provides Vercel Blob storage for images and audio you upload.
• AI model providers, via Vercel AI Gateway — process the text you send to the in-app AI chat in order to generate a response.
• Resend — delivers our transactional emails (sign-in codes, reminders, recaps).

We do not share your data with Meta/Instagram or any advertising platform — our Meta Ads integration is marketing tooling for promoting lizt itself and never touches your account or content data.

We keep your account and content data for as long as your account is active. Deleted lists and items are soft-deleted first (kept briefly so accidental deletes are recoverable) before being permanently removed. See Data Deletion for how to delete your account entirely.
